About five years ago, Elizabeth Lynch was looking for information about her birth mother, Hedwig Halkenhauser. Born in 1951 in Frankenthal, Germany, Lynch was adopted by a U.S. Army chaplain and his wife and brought to the United States at the age of three. Another fire kindles at Cherry Lane Estates
Another trailer went up in flames early Monday at Cherry Lane Estates in Somerset Borough. The Somerset, Listie, Friedens and Rockwood fire departments were dispatched to 155 Cherry Lane at 12:04 a.m. This is the 12th fire at the trailer court since early May. The last fire was July 18 at 157 Cherry Lane, right next door.Somerset Borough police have also responded to two attempted arsons in the park, the last one on Aug. 5.

Harrisburg native Matthew Toth is an award-winning senior reporter for the Lebanon Daily News. Formerly a reporter with the Somerset Daily American.

Matthew graduated Penn State Harrisburg with a Bachelor's in Communications and Political Science, with a focuses in journalism practices and constitutional law. He also has an Associates Degree in Media Studies from the Harrisburg Area Community College.

Matthew is also a non-fiction and fiction writer who writes essays, short stories, and poetry. He was published in the Penn State Harrisburg literary magazine "From the Fallout Shelter".

In 2018, Matthew was published in Z Publishing's "Pennsylvania's Emerging Writers: An Anthology of Non-Fiction".
